Dear Lobos Racers, Riders and Friends,

Entering the New Year, the Lobos Membership focused on the hard decisions regarding our event calendar for 2021. It became evident early on that hosting the 2021 China Hat Poker Run and ISDE weekend was unlikely with the ongoing COVID-19 Pandemic. The decision was a tough one, but a necessary one with social and recreational gathering limits and permit restrictions.

The Lobos is a diverse group of people, with a strong love of racing and the community that has formed around it. We, as racers, as riders and as members of an amazing community know that this announcement brings disappointment. The China Hat ISDE has been an integral part of the Pacific Northwest racing community’s event calendar for over 40 years.

Our goal as a club has always been to provide safe, professional and memorable events for our community. The China Hat ISDE defines that goal for us, and pushing the event back another year allows us to plan for an amazing return in 2022. We intend to come back in full force next year as we continue to strive towards that goal.

At this time, the Kid’s Day Event will remain on the calendar for mid summer 2021. The Lone Wolf ISDE will be returning to the OMRA calendar as part of the 2021 XC Series. More details will follow as the situation evolves and decisions are made. Please keep an eye on our social media channels for updates.

We move forward with hope for better days. Right now, the most important thing all of us can do is focus our attention on helping people with the new challenges we all face.
